I know I just updated… but I just found out something. I really, really like baseball. A lot. I went to my second Rangers game last night and it was awesome. They played the New York Yankees, and lost by 1 run, but that’s not the cool part at all. A dentist from church invited us to go with their family. It was quite a sad day for us, because our nice front row, center feild seats were magically upgraded to front row seats in our own private  (airconditioned) suite. It was crazy!! I’ll upload pictures someday, but there were these fancy silver trays full of food, Dr. Peppers galore and chocolate peanut butter cheesecake during the third inning. It was in many ways what I picture heaven to look like. (Not really, but it was stinkin’ awesome) It’s a really good thing that I like baseball, because today I get to go to a Roughriders game and play Whirley ball. (For those of you who don’t know, it’s like bumpercars mixed with basketball.) I’ve gotten to do so many things this summer that I’ve never gotten to do. I work for the rest of the week, then I get to go to youth camp,Jason comes home, then is Camp Sonshine 2, then I get to go to Breanna’s wedding and see Angela! I’m so excited.

*Manda dances across the office, avoiding awkward stares from daycare ladies* You guys have a wonderful day, leave me a message and tell me about random, funny things to do at a sports event.

  1. So there actually is a point to baseball? Hehe. Interesting. Glad you had fun. You should yell at randomly selected people & pretend you know them. I bet some would play along to avoid the embarrassment of not remembering someone.
More old people have recognized me as the p.k. Great joy.

  3. Hey sweet girl… I love baseball games, too! (Although I don’t much pay attention to it otherwise!) Too bad those darn Yankees beat us. Hope you’re having lots more fun! Love you!

  4. Yay for baseball!! I can’t believe you went to that game, because I totally had tickets to go, but I had to umpire my own games in Quitman…danget, if only I had known!
